Support Worker

We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Support Worker to work across both our Day Service at Silverburn Lodge and Reloved by Thrive Together Aberdeen, our community charity shop.This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll support individuals to:Build confidence and independence.Develop life, social and work-based skills.Take part in meaningful activities within our Day Service.Gain real work experience within our charity shop.Access opportunities within the local community.Achieve their own personal goals.No two days are the same, and you'll play a key role in helping individuals become the best version of themselves.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

Caring, compassionate and approachable.

Reliable and dependable. An excellent communicator.

Flexible and able to work across both locations.

Passionate about supporting people to achieve their goals. Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Communication and reliability are essential for this role.

You'll be supporting individuals, working alongside colleagues and representing Thrive Together within the community.

Essential Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence.Access to your own vehicle.Right to work in the UK. PVG Scheme membership (or willingness to join). Good written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable

SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). Experience supporting adults with additional support needs. First Aid qualification. Knowledge of person-centred practice.
