Our Story

Reloved by Thrive Together is more than just a charity shop—it's a place where lives are transformed through opportunity.Created by Thrive Together Aberdeen C.I.C., Reloved provides adults with learning disabilities, autism, additional support needs, and those experiencing social isolation with meaningful, supported work experience in a welcoming and inclusive environment.Our shop gives individuals the chance to develop real-life skills, build confidence, and become active members of their community. Every donation received, every item prepared for sale, and every purchase made helps create opportunities for people to learn, grow, and thrive.

Our Purpose

At Reloved, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to contribute, feel valued, and reach their full potential.Our supported retail environment enables individuals to gain practical workplace experience at a pace that suits them. Guided by our experienced team, participants develop valuable skills that can lead to volunteering, further education, or future employment while increasing their independence and self-confidence.

What We Do

Individuals working within Reloved take part in a wide range of supported retail activities, including:Sorting and processing donated itemsPricing and tagging stockCreating attractive shop displaysProviding customer service and welcoming visitorsOperating the till with staff supportOrganising and rotating stockMaintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming shopDeveloping teamwork and communication skillsLearning workplace health and safetyEvery role is tailored to each individual's abilities, interests, and personal goals, ensuring everyone can participate in a meaningful way.

Building Skills for the Future

Reloved is about far more than retail. What Donations Do We Accept?

We welcome good-quality, clean, and reusable items, including:

  • Clothing for all ages

  • Shoes and accessories

  • Handbags and jewellery

  • BooksToys and games

  • PuzzlesHomeware and kitchenware

  • Bric-a-brac and decorative items

  • Small furnitureSmall electrical items (in working order)

  • Pet supplies

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept:

  • Large furniture

  • Mattresses

  • Duvets or pillows

  • Damaged or heavily stained items

  • Broken electrical goods

  • Prams and pushchairs

  • If you're unsure whether we can accept an item, please get in touch before bringing it along.
