At Thrive Together Aberdeen, we don't just offer care - we create opportunities to connect, grow, and belong’

Our mission:

Our mission is to create inclusive, supportive spaces where people of all ages and abilities can connect, build confidence, and thrive within their community

Welcome to Thrive Together Aberdeen C.I.C.

At Thrive Together Aberdeen C.I.C., we believe every individual deserves the opportunity to live a happy, independent, and meaningful life.

We are a community-based service supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, additional support needs, and those experiencing social isolation. Through person-centred support, we help individuals build confidence, develop essential life skills, form lasting friendships, and become active members of their local community.

Our Day Services

Our day services provide a welcoming, supportive environment where every day is different. Activities are tailored to each individual's interests, abilities, and personal goals, helping them develop the skills they need to become as independent as possible.

Individuals can take part in a wide range of activities, including:

  • Budgeting and money management

  • Gardening and outdoor projects

  • Arts and crafts

  • Woodworking and practical skills

  • Health and wellbeing activities

  • Community outings

  • Travel training

  • Volunteering opportunities

  • Independent living skills

  • Seasonal events and social activities

As our charity shop develops, individuals will also have the opportunity to gain real workplace experience in a fully supported retail environment. They will learn valuable employability skills such as customer service, stock management, merchandising, cash handling, teamwork, communication, and workplace health and safety—building confidence and preparing for future volunteering or paid employment.

YA Socials

Our YA Socials provide a fun, welcoming space where young adults ages 15-25, can meet new people, enjoy new experiences, and build lasting friendships in a safe and supportive environment.

Each session offers a variety of activities chosen by the group, including games, themed evenings, quizzes, crafts, cooking, community outings, and social events. YA Socials are about much more than having fun—they help individuals develop communication skills, increase confidence, reduce social isolation, and create a real sense of belonging.

We believe everyone deserves opportunities to socialise, be themselves, and feel included within their community.

“Thanks again to you all. She loves Thrive so much—she is so much happier, more confident, and really enjoying meeting new people. It’s her favourite day of the week.”

Our Approach

Everything we do is centred around the individual. We recognise that everyone has different strengths, aspirations, and support needs, which is why our services are flexible and personalised. Whether someone wants to learn everyday life skills, gain work experience, make new friends, or simply enjoy new experiences, we are here to support them every step of the way.

At Thrive Together, we don't just provide activities—we create opportunities. Opportunities to learn, grow, achieve, and thrive.

Together, we're building confidence, independence, and brighter futures.
